Our marriages, our family, our work place, our community, our social life, everything we do in our day-to-day living revolves around relationships. Mr. Hinson has done a very talented job of bringing home things to consider, things to hold onto, and things to improve upon in all of our relationships. A great read for families and small groups. Great job Mr. Hinson!

This book is beautifully written. It is clear that God inspired Johnie throughout its creation. Rudimentary, yet essential concepts on relationships from the beginning of time all laid out in a wonderful narrative. This book will change you, your life, and your relationships. It is a powerful book!

It was the middle of a six month deployment back in Jan 2013 and our marriage fell off into an abyss. I was blindsided and felt hopeless due to all the obstacles and influences of others on the other side of the world that I had no control over. Satan swung wide open every foothold he had on me and my husband and we were on the verge of divorce. Thankfully our church family directed us to Johnie and Rene through Johnie Hinson Ministries. While my husband was still deployed they gave me biblical and practical advice on how to navigate the remaining time apart. When he finally returned home, we were able to all sit together for counseling. Johnie and Rene didn't waste any time getting to the root of the problems. They were brave enough to 'tell us like it is,' things that we needed to stop immediately, and overall that if we desired to both draw closer to Jesus that we in turn would draw closer to one another. The road was hard but Jesus was faithful, and when we put everything in His hands and trusted in Him, He made something beautiful from the ashes of our failures. I'm so thankful that Johnie and Rene were with us during some pivotal moments but overall pointed us back to God. Today, 29 April 2019, we're still together and have already celebrated our 11th year of marriage back in March.
